"It's been almost a decade since the first Lumberjack Soul album from Miles Bonny -- and in that time, he's grown tremendously -- both as a singer and musician, and as an artist who's really in command of his sound! Miles' voice still has the raspy charm we loved before, but the overall setting is far richer and more complex -- maybe in a way that owes a lot more to jazz than before, although still with just the right inflections of beats -- which are balanced with all these really creative sonic touches from Bonny -- shapes and sounds from trumpet, piano, moog, and some other sources that are a bit hard to figure out -- mixed together wonderfully. Titles include "Day Alone", "Go With The Sun", "In This World", "Soulful Melodies", "Release & Expand", "Wantu", and "Mother Of Love"

Full album recorded off-grid in northern New Mexico after Miles moved from Kansas City. 

Lumberjack Soul 2. The one you've been waiting for. It's been awhile but the life I've lived since the first one is a part of this music right here. The time, the journey, home building, the move, family, nature, the love, the vibes. Now available for you to enjoy.

Thank you to everyone who has been involved in this project and all who will listen to it. It was recorded over the course of many years and finalized before all we are going through today. Although it does not to directly address the problems we collectively face, may it be a comforting moment in the midst of it all for you. It has been for me. I have love for all cultures and varieties of people.

I want nothing more than for you, us, and future generations to live in the best world possible.
